After a year and a half of construction work, the new TotalEnergies service station officially opens to the public on Thursday 25 April between Rangwee and N3. And, at first glance, the site should impress its customers, if only for the bold architecture of its 920 m2 reinforced concrete canopy, designed by Milestone.
Built in place of the former Shell station, the site will continue to be operated independently by Howald Services S.A. and will remain managed by Socipar S.A., which operates a network of six service stations in the Grand Duchy, including four with TotalEnergies, its new partner in Howald.
The complex is built on a slight promontory off the Boulevard de Kyiv, which is intended to accommodate the new access ramp to the site, the configuration having been rethought with the arrival of the tramway via the Rue d'Orchimont.
